Abstract

Study with 100 university students analyzing how repetitive negative thinking (RNT) triggers are organized. Coordination, comparison, and hierarchy diagrams were compared; most (79) organized triggers in hierarchies. Those who chose hierarchy showed greater RNT tendency. Clinical implication: interventions should consider the hierarchical organization of triggers.
