The Self and Perspective Taking (capítulo)

Abstract

Chapter analyzing how the self (self-as-context, self-as-process, self-as-content) operates as context for rule-governed behavior. From a functional and RFT perspective, types of rule-governed behavior, their problems (fusion, avoidance), and strategies for promoting values-based regulation and contextual perspective are discussed.
